Belladonna-DHI hair transplantation

DHI hair transplantation is a method of Fue hair transplantation and the main difference is the way hair is placed. In FUE hair transplantation, the hair transplant surgeon makes incisions over the entire scalp and places the follicular units in these incisions. However, the DHI hair transplantation technique requires the use of a patented tool to implant the scalp each time without the need for any incisions.

DHI uses a special apparatus, called choi pen, to precisely control the angle, depth and direction of the implanted follicle. This creates a completely natural hairline and a natural look.

In the DHI technique, the extracted grafts are implanted directly into the recipient area, while in the FUE technique, the extracted grafts are retained in a special solution, channels are opened in the recipient area, and then the extracted grafts are implanted in the opened channels. There is no additional channel opening step in DHI.

There is no bleeding in DHI because implantation is performed with a special Implanter without opening channels. There is no crusting, pitting or postulation in DHI.

What are the steps of DHI hair transplantation?
Your hair follicles are loosened with a special tool. Since the hair follicles to be used contain a piece of tissue and hair follicles, these roots are divided into separate categories. A correct angle is preferred for the appropriate transfer of the obtained hair follicles to the region.

The roots are placed in the pencil to be used. The pen to be used must be suitable for the hair follicle and thickness structure of the person’s hair. During the performed operation, no incision is made on the skin, only receptacles are created and grafts are placed into these receptacles.

What should I expect during my recovery period after DHI hair transplantation?
After the operation, a slight numbness and pain in the head are normal. For this reason, thin crusts and rashes are observed in the areas where the DHI method has been applied. The patient regains his normal appearance within 1-2 weeks. All rashes disappear completely as the hair starts to grow.

Hair should be washed gently for 10 days after hair transplantation and should not be washed too often. Special shampoo should be used during washing and scrubbing should be avoided. After the initial period, which has been carefully implemented, you can start washing your hair normally.

What should I expect after DHI hair transplantation?
It takes 7 – 10 days for your scalp to recover from the surgery. As long as you follow the after-care instructions your hair will start growing starting from the 3rd to 4th month. More observable results will be seen after the 6th month, and final results will be visible after 12 months.
